They were welcomed by Pratheep S. Malhotra, Managing Director Pattaya Mail Media Group, Nopniwat Krailerg, Editor Chiang Mai Mail and Shana Kongmun, Managing Editor on November 6, 2013.


Members of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 12074 are joined by U.S. Vice Consul Jin-Fong Lam at the Remembrance Day ceremonies held at the Foreign Cemetery on November 11, 2013 at 11 a.m.


HSH Prince Bhisadej Rajani, head fo the Special Advisors for the Highland Research and Development Institute (HRDI) presided over the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on October 31, 2013 at Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (head office) for a permanent exhibition for society and the environment and the ‘Flora Festival 2013’ at Royal Park Rajapruek. Eight agencies are involved; Thai Airways International, PTT, Krung Thai Bank, Charoen Pokphand, Port Authority of Thailand, Muang Thai Life Assurance,, Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives, and Highland Research and Development Institute.


Members of the Swiss Lanna Society met at the Imperial Mae Ping on Friday November 8, 2013 to hear ICRC head in Chiang Mai Cedric Piralla speak on the role of the ICRC. The Swiss Lanna Society is a group of Swiss citizens living in Chiang Mai that normally meet weekly at Why Not Restaurant on Nimmanhaemin Soi 11. John Schorr and Duenpen “Boong” Chaladlam of the group Chiang Mai Friends met at the White Plate Café at JJ Market on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 to discuss upcoming projects including the International We Love the King Day Parade that will be held on December 3, 2013 to allow all foreign residents in Chiang Mai a chance to honor HM the King for his birthday.

H. E. Mr. Felix Denegri, Ambassador of Peru to the Kingdom of Thailand is joined by Honorary Consul for Peru and Senator M.L Preeyapun Sridhavat to open the event Nazca Lines – Live the Legend held at Chiang Mai University Art Center on November 6, 2013. Associate Professor Rome Chiranukrom Vice President for International Relations and Alumni Affairs of Chiang Mai University delivered the welcome address to the exhibition which features the ancient Nazca culture of coastal Peru.
