Protestors call for an end to “Thaksinocracy”

Around 3,000 anti-government campaigners turned out at Chiang Mai Univeristy’s Salatham to call for an end to “Thaksinocracy”.

Around 3,000 people gathered at the Salatham in Chiang Mai University at 9:39 a.m. Monday, December 9, 2013 to show their solidarity with anti – government demonstrators that filled Bangkok streets.

Mayor-elect announces policies for his new term

Mayor-elect Tussanai Buranupakorn attended the first meeting of the Chiang Mai Municipal Council of his second term on December 6, 2013 to announce policy measures planned for his term. This is a key step that must be undertaken before his inauguration as Mayor can take place.
