Peter Schnyder, the General Manager of the Imperial Mae Ping Hotel and the management team recently presented a donation of cake, food and drinks to the Chiangmai Orphanage Foundation “Kingkaew Wiboolsanti” on Children’s Day, January 11 2014.


We Women Foundation held a silent auction fundraising party at Sudsanan Restaurant on Huay Kaew Road on Friday, January 17, 2013. We Women Foundation supports Burmese women who seek higher education in Thailand with the bid in returning to their home villages and helping their families and neighbors by becoming influential members of their communities. Tichaa by Harn, just off Nimmanhaemin Road soi 17 on Soi Sai Nam Phueng, held a tea tasting and mixing demonstration at the restaurant on Friday, January 17, 2014. Held in conjunction with CityLife magazine the event saw a large number of visitors mixing their own mocktails from different flavored teas under the instruction of their tea mixologist. Seen here are Senior Domestic Marketing Manager Ms. Manasavee Udommongkol and General Manager Mr. Preeda Jungchalermsuk.


Menno Keppel of Take Me Home Tomatoes and Phairoj Phatpornpinyosakul of Rimping Supermarket enjoy a drink before a fabulous pop up restaurant dinner presented by Meen of Rustic & Blue Handgrown Produce and Artisan Foods on Friday, January 17, 2014 in front of the Army Riding Camp on Canal Road. The evening was a great success as diners enjoyed delicious food al fresco in the chilly but beautiful ambiance. They plan on offering another pop up dining experience in February.


Boonchai Suwatsakulsawasd; General Manager of the Centara Duangtawan Hotel, Chiang Mai is joined by the management team to donate 200 blankets to the Office of Social Development and Human Security in Phrae Province to give to people in the villages of Phrae.


Shangri-La Hotel Chiang Mai led by their Corporate Social Responsibility committee, administrators and staff held Children’s Day activities on January 11, 2014 for students of Baan Kor Sariem School at the school in San Kamphaeng. They were welcomed by Chusak Niamthong, Director of the school and teachers. Morakot Anurakbandit, Human Resources Director of Shangri-La Hotel Chiang Mai represented the hotel and donated school supplies, food and homemade cookies to over 70 students.
