Elephants join in World Cup Fever

Maesa Elephant Camp’s elephants took part in World Cup Fever in a football game at the camp.

Elephants at the Maesa Elephant Camp joined in World Cup Fever between June 12 to July 13 when the camp painted safe colors of 12 national flags on the elephants and separated them into two teams to compete in an elephant football match and penalty shoot outs.

Wat Phra That Doi Suthep scraps plans for view-blocking dome

The new view tower on the pagoda at Wat Doi Suthep is being scrapped after community outrage erupted that the building would block the view of the Wat and of Doi Suthep.

The first Skate Chiang Mai 2014 ice skating competition was held at the Sub – Zero Ice Skate Club at Central Festival from Jun 6 - 8, 2014 and saw 130 competitors in ages ranging from 3 years old to 42 years old compete in several categories.


I like tapas and usually really enjoy getting a more than a few of a little bit of somethings for dinner, it offers the opportunity to have many different flavours in one meal without having to eat a giant meal.

Members of the Chiang Mai International Rotary Club President Roger Lindley and Rotarian Elsie Choy were at the Chiang Mai International Airport greeting visiting Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Bangkok Benjasiri. The Bangkok Rotarians were on their way to Fang to coordinate an eye clinic at the Chinese school on Doi Ang Kham. Rotarians from Chiang Mai International Rotary Club and Rotary Club of Chiang Mai North traveled to Fang on Saturday the 31st of May to join with the Bangkok and the Fang Clubs in participating in the eye clinic.
