One more year of construction for Mae Rim commuters

Mae Rim commuters can expect another year of construction at the Pack Squadron Intersection.

Although the agreement to start underpass construction at the intersection of Highway 107 and Highway 121 was signed on July 16, 2013, construction slowed as the Department of Highways awaited approval from the military on adding an access road onto military property. However, approval was granted recently and the Department will close the North bound lane soon in order to begin construction on the wall on that side.

Heavy rains and storms as rainy season strengthens

Chiang Mai is due for more heavy rains and Governor Suriya Prasatbandit warned people who live in low-lying areas near rivers or streams to beware flooding. Also those who live near the base of hills or mountains should beware of landslides as the rainy season progresses and soil becomes waterlogged.

Tigers in their first defeat of the season

The Lanna Tigers, Chiang Mai FC fell to 9th on the Yamaha League 1 table after two losses in a row, one at home and one away.
The Tigers suffered their first defeat of the season at home at 700 Years Stadium on June 15, 2014 against Bangkok FC, currently second on the table.
