August 12 is a very special day throughout the Thai Kingdom, as it is the day the entire nation celebrates the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s Birthday. The day is also celebrated throughout the Kingdom as Mother’s Day. The management and staff of the Chiang Mai Mail join the Thai people and the many others from around the world to present our loyalty and devotion to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit and best wishes for a most Happy Birthday and a long life on the occasion of her 82nd birthday Tuesday, August 12. Songthaew drivers meet with Army over new system

The Commissioner of the 33rd Military Circle met with over 1,600 red songthaew drivers on July 30, 2014 at the Chiang Mai International Convention Center to register drivers for their preferred routes with the Nakhon Lanna Co-operative.

Skålleagues met on the rooftop of the lovely Sala Lanna Hotel on Thursday, July 31, 2014 enjoying the cool temperatures brought on by the rains that fell earlier in the afternoon. The view of Doi Suthep and over the Wat Gate area had many pointing out landmarks and enjoying the view.

Lanna Tigers take on Racha Navy FC

Chiang Mai FC played a home game against the Racha Navy FC on August 3, 2014 in the Yamaha League 1. The Tigers played an attacking game against the visitors who are second ranked on the table. In the first half star player Anggello Machuca nearly scored twice but the visitors managed to protect their goal.
