Mr. Pipatphol Phiboonnun, Resident Manager of Khum Phaya Resort and Spa Centara Boutique Collection, Ms. Warissara Wongsanurug, Director of Sales - Northern and Ms. Chutikarn Boonkla, Rooms Division Manager recently welcomed the crew of the famous Chinese TV show, “The World is Fun” with Mr. Li Weijia, a Chinese actor and host.


Organizers from the International We Love the King Day parade present their request to use Tha Pae Gate to Mayor Tussanai Buranupakorn at the Municipality offices on September 9, 2014. The Mayor granted the request to hold the parade on December 3, 2014. This is the fourth annual International We Love the King Day event held in Chiang Mai, last year’s event saw over 3,000 people, including foreign residents, members of ethnic minorities and Thais, participate in the event that gives the international community the opportunity to pay respects to HM the King for his birthday. The installation of the new President of the Thai Chinese Women’s Relations Association was held on September 7, 2014 at the convention hall at Niyom Panich offices near Central Plaza Chiang Mai Airport. K. Vongkot Chantaramangkorn will hold the position for 2 years while K. Raya Luelai was appointed head of the Foreign Affairs Office.


Staff from the Centara Duangtawan Hotel donated tabs from aluminum cans to the Prostheses Foundation under H.R.H. Princess Mother, Chiang Mai as a part of the project “ To do Goodness for His Majesty The King” at the Prostheses Foundation on Chiang Mai - Mae Rim Road, Chiang Mai.


Nopniwat Krailerg, President-elect and acting as a representative of the Rotary Club of Chiang Mai Airport signed a partnership agreement with Mr. Ken Kasuga, Youth Exchange Committee, from Koshoku Rotary Club, District 2600 RI in Japan to cooperate on social service projects. The signing was witnessed by PP. Charin Adha-On-Ake, from The Rotary Club of Chiang Mai Phuping, Former Assistant of District Governor 3360 R.I. along with Rotarians of The Rotary Club of Chiang Mai Airport on September 3, 2014 at Chamchuri Restaurant, Chulalongkorn University Alumni (Northern Region).


The Holiday Inn Hotel Chiang Mai organized a fire drill and evacuation plan with the Fire Department and Holiday Inn staff. The fire drill and evacuation plan is part of the routine safety checks all departments provide to build confidence for their guests.


Staff from the Dhara Dhevi Chiang Mai, led by Parichaya Na Nakornphanom welcomed a group of graduate students from the Prince of Songkla University who visited the hotel on a study visit and heard lectures on hotel and property management.
