Gourmets and music lovers can enjoy a feast of fine food and music during November while aiding 5 charities in and around Chiang Mai.Thais and foreigners are invited to attend any or all of the functions at the Saen Kham Terrace Restaurant, Baan Nai Fan 2nd project. The first Gourmet and Music feast will be held on Saturday November 11 starting at 7pm. Funds raised will be donated to: the Northern Disabled People Foundation; Anusarn Sunthorn School for the Deaf; Srisungwarn Chiang Mai School; Suandok Hospital Foundation and the Chiang Mai Orphanage Foundation.

Free Live Museum – There will be seminars on Lanna cloth, Lanna arts & culture, crafts, handmade products and an exhibition on the history of the Lanna leaders & important people in the past. Christmas Season – The Chiang Mai Choral Society International will celebrate the Christmas season with a concert on Saturday evening, December 9, starts 7 p.m. at the nursing school auditorium, Payap University, Kaew Nawarat Campus across from McCormick Hospital. The concert will feature a selection of old and new international Christmas music as well as seasonal selections from Japan and Thailand and a guest appearance by Galen Garwood, internationally – recognized artist and poet. Admission is B200 for adults, B100 for students of all ages. Pitijet (Xavier) Vichitporn conducts the Choral Society, and Sidney Richardson is the Music Directory/Pianist.

Chiang Mai Brand Fair- A product fair is being held from now on to January 31st January, 2007 at Anusarn Market on Chang Klan Road, featuring shops with many products such as handicrafts, clothes, knick-knacks all at more or less inexpensive prices.

Jewish Family Club – we would like to share shabbat, holidays and other times. We know there is Chabad in Chiangmai, and that they do an excellent job for the Israelis and young traveler who are generally here temporarily. Accommodation Business Owners’ Register – We would like to invite hotels, guest houses, etc., to register on the Chiang Mai Housing Bureau’s website www.cnxtourism.com in preparation for the International Horticultural Exposition Ratchaphruek 2006. The aim is to provide an accommodation service for tourists who will visit the event and support the many activities that will be happening in Chiang Mai. The European Union Film Festival – European films are hailed the world over and Thai audiences will have the chance to see why, when some of the best release of recent years take part in this year’s event, organized by the Delegation of the European Commission and the Embassies of the European Union (EU) Members States and with the support of AIS.

The EU Film Festival aims to bring better understanding of the EU through cultural interaction. As in past years the festival will bring some of the very best in recent European cinema to Thailand.
