Billboard pollution
Dear Editor
I read in the Chiangmai Mail, that some people started an anti-noise
campaign. Excellent, I support that.
My suggestion is to start simultaneously an anti- billboard campaign because
of the horizon pollution of the so-called Rose of the North.

Anti noise at Think Park
Dear Editor:
Dear anti noise campaigner,
Yesterday Think Park was at it again and the racket will continue today and
then Saturday it will start all over again. How much longer are people going
to put up with this blatant intrusion into their lives?
We are now starting a serious campaign. At the next event we will be present
and we invite the local and national press. If they can make a noise, then
so can we. We will have a planning meeting soon.

Smog season
Dear Editor
We all await with dread the upcoming smog season. I am only hoping that the
rains we have had this year will keep it to a minimum since last year was so
absolutely terrible. And while I realize that most of this burning takes
place outside the city of Chiang Mai, among the fields and hills, surely
people in the city must realize that they contribute to the problem?
My neighbor regularly burns, not just leaves but also his plastic rubbish,
filling the neighborhood with the stink of burning plastic. I understand the
city is working hard to stop this problem so is there a number I can call to
report burning?
