Shelley Halstead and Shouvik Mukherjee enjoyed the Rock n Roll night at the Mandarin Oriental Dhara Devi on Friday, June 3. The evening featured a Marilyn Monroe lookalike and Dean Henderson dressed in an amazing Elvis costume.


The Mandarin Oriental Dhara Devi continued their series of costume parties with a Rock n Roll themed night on Friday, June 3, 2011. Dean Henderson, dressed as Elvis, is joined by a Marilyn Monroe look alike and well known residents such as Jonas Dept, Marisa Marchitelli, Michelle Ring, Lili Tan and others.

Mrs. Elaine Yue, General Manager of Shangri-La Hotel, Chiang Mai recently welcomed H.E Mr. Chen Zongxing, Vice-Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee of China accompanied by Mr. Nikom Wairatpanich, first Vice President of the Thai
Senate during his official visit to Thailand, on 27 – 29 May 2011 and enjoyed their stay at the hotel.


The Deputy Mayor of Chiang Mai presided over the opening ceremony of the Boy Scouts volunteer project at Chiang Mai public schools on May 24, 2011 at Wat Sri Ping Muang school.


Chiang Mai Zoo and Chiang Mai Provincial authorities announced the celebrations for Lhin Ping’s 2nd birthday party to be held May 27 and 28. Chiang Mai Governor ML Panadda Diskul, 2nd right, veterinarian Visith Wichasilp, 2nd left, representatives from the People’s Republic of China attended the announcement that Lhin Ping will be allowed to stay in Chiang Mai a further 2 years.

The Chiang Mai Municipality has applied this MSMS 2008 system for work implementation in the city.
