NIS International Day

Students helped to make and serve the many delicious foods on offer.

Nakorn Payap International School held a booming International Day on Saturday, February 4, 2012 that featured food and booths from around the world.

From South American to Indian, French, Swiss (the fondue was popular!) American, British, Taiwanese and Korean, it seems the only continent not represented was Africa!

NIS is located on the second ring road and has students from around the world, all classes are taught in English and the school focuses on not only strong academic achievement but in helping students to integrate and learn in a multicultural environment. NIS holds their International Day every year, and this year proved to be very popular as kids swarmed the area in costumes playing games, doing learning activities and munching on a wide variety of foods

This little girl joined her sari clad mother at the India booth.

Students dressed in national costumes, these girls were at the Korea booth.

This mother and daughter dressed in the summer kimono or yukata for NIS’ International Day.
