Chiang Mai Governor ML Panadda Diskul met with and
awarded plaques to the organizers of the International We Love the King
Day and Parade that was held on Sunday, December 3, 2011 and saw the
participation of hundreds of people from many different nations and
ethnic groups show their admiration for HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej on
the occasion of his 84th birthday.

Chiang Mai Creative City Committee held an
informal meeting at Su Casa Restaurant on Nimamnhaemin soi 11 on
Thursday, February 16, 2012. Attending the meeting were Committee member
Martin Venzky-Stalling, Chiang Mai Goodwill Ambassador Annette
Kunagigon, Peter Seidler who has worked in many creative IT projects,
chef Andy Ricker of Pok Pok, and travel writer and TAT Friend of
Thailand award winner Kristie Kellahan along with other local business
people, academicians and people interested in developing the creative

Dr. Chao Duenduang na Chiang Mai, President of the
Chiang Mai Culture Council, opened the Home & Wedding Fair at Central
Airport Plaza on February 9, 2012. She was joined by local
businesspeople and models as well as event organizers. The Wedding Fair
runs until February 15, 2012.
