Snow Festival at Think Park brings fun and controversy

Tan Passakornnatee, CEO of Mai Tan Inc opens the new Snow Festival at Think Park

Tan Passakornnatee, the charismatic owner of Think Park, the Eastin Hotel next to it and founder of Oishi Tea, opened the newest attraction at Think Park, the Snow Festival on Friday December 20, 2014. Joining him were Chiang Mai Mayor Tussanai Buranupakorn and other executives of the hotel. The Snow Festival runs concurrently with a Beer Festival at Eastin Hotel until January 4, 2014. Additionally the festival will offer live jazz music for guests.

Sounds of Jazz fill the air at Promenada

The grounds at Promenada Resort Shopping Mall were filled with bundled up music lovers on the weekend of December 19 and 20 as the sounds of jazz filled the air. The Chiang Mai Jazz Fest saw local favorites the North Gate Jazz Big Band along with the CM Jazz Crew featuring Gap from the Voice Thailand.

Think Park has really grown recently with the addition of new shops, hair dresser and coffee shops. For a time there were only a couple of restaurants but the fun new funky spot called Hamburg opened recently.
