Yaba found stashed in a doll at the airport

Police show the doll and the bag that were recovered on Chiang Mai International property on January 16, 2016.

After receiving a tip off that drug dealing was taking place at Chiang Mai International Airport Drug Suppression officers led by Pol. Lt. Col. Kom Chetkhuntod investigated areas around the airport including the luggage loading area at 6 p.m. on January 26, 2016. Police found a woman’s black purse left near a post outside the building.

Unpaid workers file complaint with the government

A group of 121 migrant workers filed a complaint at the Damrongdhamma Center on January 27, 2016 alleging that the company that had hired them to work on three construction sites around the city had left them stranded and failed to pay outstanding wages.
