Fire shuts down GSSM 91.75 radio station

Firefighters were forced to break into a locked building to put out a fire that broke out in the middle of the night in Chang Puak on July 23, 2016. The building housed the GSSM 97.1 Radio Station.

Firefighters were called to a fire at a building housing the GSSM 91.75 radio station on Theparak Road in Chang Puak around 12:10 a.m. on July 23, 2016. They arrived to find the three storey building ablaze. It took the firefighters over an hour to put out the fire as it took some time to gain entrance as the building was locked up and there was nobody in the building.

Dengue rates lower this year than same time last year

The Chiang Mai Provincial Public Health Office reported that the number of confirmed cases of the mosquito borne disease Dengue fever were lower than the same time last year recently.
