Treasury Department cancels plans for green space after community protest

Large crowds of concerned residents, teachers and students protested the planned Treasury Department construction citing the destruction of one of the last large green spaces in the city.

The Treasury Department capitulated on its plans to develop one of the last remaining green spaces near Regina Coeli College after the community erupted in protest on August 15, 2016.

Serial thief caught again after being released from jail

A twenty year old Chiang Mai man was arrested with in a day after being released from prison for stealing two motorcycles and cash from a ceramic shop.
