Four Seasons Chiang Mai holds Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony

Michael Brannan, General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai and Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle presided over the Christmas Tree Lighting 2016 where he was joined by Chiang Mai Governor Pawin Chamniprasart as chairperson of the ceremony along with Germany Honorary Consul Hagen E.W. Dirksen and his wife Wanphen Sakdatorn, Kate and Liz Setthakorn or ITM Massage and others. The Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai’s Christmas Tree was designed and created by team of over 50 people to be in harmony with resort’s atmosphere as much as possible. This Christmas Tree is on bamboo raft in the middle of resort’s pond and is 13 meters high and is made of Globe Fringe Rush planted in 15,000 nursery bags placed on the bamboo structure decorated with blinking lamps. It will be on display until Friday, January 6, 2017.

New Japan Village Project opens on Nimmanhaemin Soi 15

Koji Korata, Managing Director of Across Thailand Co.,Ltd., and Executive of Japan Village was joined by movie star Pattay-Angsumarin, Rick Wong and other guests at the opening of the new Japan Village on Nimmanhaemin Soi 15 on December 21, 2016. The new shopping area offers food, beauty products and bars featuring Japanese food and products. Membership will be open until December 31 for the two story location that has famous Japanese products and services along with well-known Japanese restaurants and the V-Bar, an open air lounge, with a food court and signature cocktails by world-famous mixologist, Shuno Nagumo.

IORA Drinking Water launches at Mo’c Mo’l restaurant

Iora Drinking water was launched by Jakrawut Pratoom, Managing Director and N Napapat Klankhachon, owner of House No.9 herbal water at the Mo’c Mo’l Restaurant on December 20, 2016. Jakrawut said that the company was founded in August of 2016 to provide quality drinking water with no contaminants using the reverse osmosis process. The company is offering drinking water in three sizes; 350-ml small bottle, 600-ml medium bottle, and 1.5-liter big bottle, and have been delivered to convenience stores in Chiang Mai and Lamphun since December 1, 2016.

Shangri-La Chiang Mai Hotel lights Christmas tree in lobby

The Shangri-La Chiang Mai Hotel team, led by Mr. Franz Richter, General Manager, held the “Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony” on December 14, 2016 in the hotel’s lobby and invited twenty children from Wiang Ping Children’s Home in Mae Rim, Chiang Mai to receive gifts and enjoy dinner. Guests were given cards to sign and hang on the tree and invited to donate funds to the Wiang Ping Children’s Home and Elephant Hospital. Elephant Parade brought small elephants for children and guests to paint, 20% of total sales through January 15, 2017 will go to the Elephant hospital.
